[Solucionado] Ayuda con con doble booteo!

Hola communiters!!!!!  Creo q la regue por andar travesiando!

Sucede que tengo una makina con Win Vista de la cual no tengo ningun cd o dvd instalador... solo la muy makina...

Pues decidi ponerle xp... pero sin kitarle el vista por lo q con el mismo vista cree un espacio no particionado en el que instale el xp (en la Unidad D).. fue un lio instalar todos los controladores pero alfin lo hice!!

Ahora...  ...cada vez q reinicio simpre carga el Xp sin preguntar si kiero cargar en Vista...

Busque alguna info antes de hacer esto pero no encontre una q me sirviera... asi q si conocen alguna forma de arreglar este problemita.. sin necesidad de hacerlo todo de nuevo.. os agradecere mucho!!!

Suponiendo que:


Restoring Vista and dual booting

Because you can’t use the Windows XP bootloader to boot Vista, we have to reinstate Vista’s bootloader to the MBR and configure it to manage both operating systems.

Compared with scenarios involving Ubuntu where you have to reinstall the GRUB bootloader, getting Vista up and operational again is very easy.

Boot from the Vista DVD and on the screen where you’re prompted to “Install now”, select “Repair your computer”.

The next screen searches for local Vista installations – there should only be one, so click Next.

This loads the System Recovery Options screen. Select the first option – Startup Repair. This looks for problems which would prevent Vista from loading (like a missing bootloader) and automatically fixes them.

If you click on “Click here for diagnostic and repair details” and scroll to the bottom of the list, it shows that the problem detected and repaired was a corrupt boot sector (according to Vista, anyway).

Click Close and then Finish, and the system will restart and boot into Vista.

Now we need to enable dualbooting with XP, and EasyBCD is the best application to achieve this.

Download and install EasyBCD.

Launch the app and go to Add/Remove Entries.

Under “Add an Entry” and under the Windows tab and select in the Version drop-down list “Windows NT/2k/XP/2k3”.

Change the Drive to E:\ and the name to “Windows XP”, then click “Add Entry” and “Save”.


Vista & XP - EasyBCD

Reboot the system and you’ll have two entries in the Vista bootloader, and can boot into either operating system.

Removing Windows XP

If you eventually decide that dualbooting XP as the second OS isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, it’s pretty easy to undo the changes made.

Use EasyBCD to remove the Windows XP boot entry, and then go into Computer Management (right-click on Computer, Manage) and go to Disk Management.

Right-click E: drive (the Windows XP partition) and select Delete Volume.

Right-click the newly-created partition and select Delete Partition.

Then right-click the C: drive (the Vista system partition) and click Extend Volume – this opens up the Extend Volume Wizard.

The wizard gives you a readout on how much space is actually available to extend the partition – enter in how much you want to use and press Next. Vista will extend the system partition to reclaim the disk and Windows is well and truly gone.

Fixing the corrupt bootloader
If the Windows XP bootload corrupts during the install, performing a reinstall won’t fix it, nor will going into the XP Recovery Mode and attempting to repair the MBR.

Luckily, the install was up to the stage where all you need to do is be able to boot from the Windows XP partition, and the install will pick up from where it left off.

To achieve this, follow the procedure outlined above to restore the Vista bootloader (under "Restoring Vista and Dualbooting").

This allows the system to boot into Vista, and then you can use EasyBCD to create an XP boot entry and boot into that to continue on with XP's installation. (For details on using EasyBCD, also see the section "Restoring Vista and Dualbooting".)

aca un pequeño resumen de todo lo que dice ahi pero en español

Los pasos necesarios los encontré en APC Magazine, y ligeras modificaciones de mi parte, constan resumidamente en lo siguiente:

   1. Booteamos con el DVD de Vista. Si el equipo no lo trae deberemos procurarnos uno, no importa la versión, yo por ejemplo usé uno en inglés.
   2. Seguimos todos los pasos como si fuésemos a instalarlo, pero cuando llegamos a Instalar Ahora nos detemos y elegimos la opción de más abajo para reparar el equipo.
   3. Elegimos la partición de nuestro disco, probablemente la única, y le damos siguiente. Llegaremos a un menú con opciones de recuperación de donde seleccionamos la opción de línea de comandos.
   4. En la línea de comandos vamos a utilizar el comando diskpart de Windows, aunque bien podríamos utilizar alguna otra herramienta de administración de particiones mientras no tenga problemas en trabajar con la partición de Vista. En caso de usar diskpart, lo ejecutamos y luego ingresamos list disk para ver el id que corresponde al disco rígido (normalmente 0), entonces luego ejecutamos select disk + el id del disco. Repetimos este proceso luego con volume, donde debemos elegir el id correspondiente al de nuestra partición de Vista, y finalmente ejecutamos el comando shrink. Éste nos reducirá lo más posible la partición, dejándonos espacio libre para crear nuestra partición para Windows XP. Ahora salimos con exit y estamos listos para instalar XP.
   5. Booteamos con el CD de XP y seguimos los pasos normales de instalación, seleccionando por supuesto que se instale en el espacio libre que dejamos. Una vez concluída la instalación, tendremos un lindo XP que arrancará directamente al encender la máquina. Y Vista?
   6. Ahora nos toca recuperar a Vista. El bootloader de XP naturalmente no soporta cargar a un SO más nuevo como Windows Vista, por lo que debemos volver a bootear con el DVD de Vista y llegar nuevamente al diálogo de opciones de recuperación. Ahí vamos a elegir la reparación del inicio (Startup Repair, no sé como estará exactamente en español) y de esta forma volveremos a tener a Vista en condiciones, arrancando como antes al inicio del sistema. Y ahora que hacemos con XP?
   7. Booteamos en Vista y descargamos e instalamos EasyBCD, una herramienta para la gestión del menú de arranque. Luego de ejecutarlo, vamos a Add/Remove Entries y agregamos una nueva entrada que apunte a la partición donde tenemos a XP, y elegimos en los datos de la versión la opción acorde. Guardamos los datos y listo. La próxima vez que reiniciemos vamos a poder seleccionar con que Windows queremos bootear.

Eso es lo mas facil de conseguir man, mira si solo son 2 dias o incluso un dia de descarga, podes buscarlo en megaupload o en dalya.com y ya

tevas a propiedadesde sistema opciones avanzadas + inicio y recuperacion  + ahi te aparece  las opcines que necesitas solo dale mostrar lista de sistemas operativos durante 30 o mas segundo luego aceptar + reinicias la pc  y listo tenes las dos opciones  espero ayudarte    me dices si te sirvio

Puse en practica lo de la primera respuesta... Use el Disco de Vista para arrancar en ese OS.. y use el EasyBCD para la configuracion del booteo!!
