Sun to Open Source Java !!!

"Sun today announced that Java Platform, Standard Edition 5 is now available for redistribution by GNU/Linux and OpenSolaris operating system distributors under the new Operating System Distributor's License for Java (also known as the 'Distro License for Java' or DLJ). Developed in consultation with, and for use by, the various GNU/Linux communities, the new license allows distributors to ship Sun's Java SE 5.0 Java Development Kit and Java Runtime Environment as installable packages for their operating systems." At the same time, Sun also promised to open-source Java.

Buenisima noticia para la comunidad GNU , ya los señores de sun se han decidido a dar este paso que en realidad viene a beneficiar a todos  , si han considerado este movimiento supongo que lo han analizado bien y lo consideraron lo mejor por hacer !!

Excelente noticia sin duda esto dará una herramienta mas para la evolucion de Linux en cuanto a software de desarrollo

este si es noticia bueena! lo mejor va a ser la velocidad a la que evolucione ahora q sea libre!! y ojala que Sun se mantenga supervisando a cierto nivel..pq para mi ya es un trozo de lenguaje!
