R600 no soportara DirectX 10.

Haciendo eco (como siempre), estoy sorprendido de que AMD no hara compatible su proxima tarjeta con codigo R600 no con DirectX 10 sino con DirectX 10.1.

"R600 is ATI's answer to NVIDIA's G80 circuit. The rumors surrounding this has been many and they keep multiplying even as we're getting closer to the actual launch, which is still three months away though. Now rumors have appeared that R600 will be compatible with Microsoft's coming DirectX 10.1, which will be released during the second quarter of 2007. The difference between DirectX 10 and 10.1 is, among others, a better multi-core support and an optimized API which needs fewer calls. por cierto Microsoft va a introducir las DirectX 10.1 como un mes despues del lanzamiento de Windows Vista.

ademas hay un par de chip graficos que tambien soportaran DirectX 10.1

S3 XD2/D2 y  XD3/D3  Dx10.1.

XE3/E3 dual cores GPU 1.2GHz core，PCI-E 2.0 GDDR4
XE2/E2 5cores GPU，PCI-E 2.0 GDDR4
XE1/E1 8cores GPU，PCI-E 2.0 GDDR5

pouta, una VGA con 8 nucleos y memoria GDDR 5, pero minimo para el 2008.

bueno a esperar que trae en año nuevo pero por lo visto me comprare una AMD/ATI RADEON x2600 xt, con bus de 256bits, memorias GDDR4 a 2 ghz o el engendro que sea...

ya que me fijo en mi post, y las de S3 son PCI-express 2.0, no las veremos hasta finales del 2007.

Buenale JED, yo tambien quiero uno, y solo una, no me interesa mucho ni el Crossfire ni el SLI.
